Fever Pitch

Breakfast
For some reason my oats have been coming out soupier that usual and I don't know why. My best guess is that maybe the super ripe bananas I've been using release more moisture? Idunno! Anyways, in the mix was
  • 1 large, super ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • handful raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. milled flaxseed
  • scoop peanut butter
  • vanilla almond milk
The other thing about oats that are more liquidy is that they stay piping hot for much longer. That's why I used this bigger, flatter bowl so they would cool down quicker.
I also had a mug of peppermint tea and a Women's Once a Day. I've been trying to get off the morning caffeine by switching to herbal tea and I think it worked. I did have a pretty bad headache yesterday but I think it was unrelated. I want to enjoy a little boost in the morning, not depend on it!

Lunch
I packed my lunch for school since I knew I was going to be on campus from 11-8PM :0!! I had a PB&J...
some Naked Green juice,
and a fruit salad of apples, strawberries, blackberries, and kiwi.
I ate outside with Savannah and our friend Tommy. It was so nice out it felt like a picnic :)
I wanted a little more protein in my life at this moment so I had some of my nuts.

Snack
During opera, I enjoyed my dried mangos while watching rehearsal from the house during scenes I wasn't involved in. It's going to be an awesome show! We're doing Cosi Fan Tutte!
During the actual break I went with Amanda to the corner store, hence the checkered floor, while I ate this honey graham z bar.

Dinner
When I finally got home I was not feeling well at all. I took my temperature and it was 100! Why!?!? After a good dose of Aleeve, I made some comfort food dinner. Broccoli soup, an ear of corn and some hummus and crackers.
My go to full food is peanut butter so I had a sliced Gala and some peanut butter. I'm rather disappointed in these apples I bought at costco. They look pretty but really don't have much flavor at all :(
...ok remember I had comfort food on the mind. Blueberry Pecan granola is so comforting to me I just couldn't resist.
I hit the hay early and I really needed it! Luckily the weekend is sooo close!

I think you are right about the bananna releasing more liquid. Glad you are feeling better. The banana, strawberry combo ice cream looks amazing and I will have to try it.
